1:2400 Naval Warfare: The Austro-Hungarian Navy in 1914 ... or my 1:2400 version of it!

Hi all,

Inspired by a totally new period, scale and genre of wargame I have decided to set up a blog to chronicle this and further escapades. OK enough rambling, here is the point of the post.

In 1914 the Kaiserliche und Königliche Kriegsmarine (Imperial and Royal War Navy), abbreviated as k.u.k. Kriegsmarine was a modern, if modestly sized, fleet that had several excellent capital ships but a severe shortage of scout cruisers. My 1:2400 sized version will be similarly handicapped for the moment, if only because there aren't that many models around to choose from that don't require conversion work!

The OOB is;-
Austrian Fleet Manoeuvres 1914

1st Battle Squadron, 1st Division: Tegetthof, Viribus Unitis and Prinz Eugen

1st Battle Squadron, 2nd Division: Radetzky, Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand, and Zrínyi

The Cruiser Squadron: Sankt Georg, Kaiser Karl VI

Destroyer Escorts: Huszar Class

Wish me luck!
